When will My Project get a Response?

How long until I begin seeing responses to my study?

Congrats on publishing your project! πŸŽ‰ Most studies typically begin getting responses within the first 12 hours of being published, but this is also dependent on your audience.

Response timeline per audience

General Population: You will typically begin seeing responses within the first hour of posting your study.

Industry Professionals: You should see a response within the first 12-24 hours.

Niche Audiences: If you are trying to reach a niche audience, it could be 2 or 3 days until you get your first response to a study.

I'm not getting any (or enough) responses and it's been more than 48 hours 😰

Don't panic! There's probably an explanation for this.

  • Double-check that your project is Recruiting and not Paused or a Draft.

  • Do you have a proper project title and pitch?

  • Are your screener questions concise? Is your skip logic functioning appropriately?

  • Do you have an enticing incentive for the time required?

    • Offering $50 for 2 hours is not going to get many responses! Did you mean $500 for 2 hours? Now that's a winner! πŸ€‘

  • Have you completed your Audience selections?

    • For Industry Professional projects we recommend including 2-5 industries and at least 10-20 job titles.

Keep an eye on your project's Analytics tab. If you find that your project is getting a lot of views, but little clicks or responses, you may want to revisit your project setup.

Typically increasing your incentive will improve your click and response rate, as well as having an engaging project title and pitch.
