Even if you're is 100% qualified, being selected for a project is based on many factors.

To provide context, Respondent is an online marketplace giving participants that match the employment background, demographics, and location requirements access to projects posted by researchers on the platform. Respondent enables participants to find paid focus groups or other forms of research across different locations or skill requirements, but there may not always be an open project for every participant profile.

Respondent does not select or qualify participants for studies, this is handled directly by researchers.

Qualification for a project can be based on many factors and, even if one is 100% qualified, it does not guarantee an invitation to participate. Each project has a unique set of needs and projects fill up quickly.

So, if you haven't been chosen, it doesn't mean you've done anything wrong. Bottom line, continue to apply to the screener surveys that are the best fit for your background, knowledge, education, and subject matter expertise to increase your chances of being selected!

Another great way to earn incentives is to refer qualified participants to the platform or to open projects. We have two referral opportunities.

YOUR UNIQUE REFERRAL LINK (Network Referrals)

Your unique referral link allows anyone to sign up and browse all of our current research projects. Your referral link is not associated with any particular project. As soon as an individual you refer earns at least $75 worth of incentive payments in research studies you will receive $20 applied to your PayPal account.

PROJECT REFERRAL
This referral allows you to refer people directly to a specific study. When the person you refer participates in and completes the study you will receive $50 applied to your PayPal account.
