Why your profile matters
Researchers choose invitees based on their role, tools used, industry, company size, region, time zone, languages, and availability. Having a detailed profile helps you appear in searches and reduces the chances of mismatches.
Profile checklist (complete these fields)
Job title (clear, standard): Use full titles (e.g., “Product Manager,” not “PM”).
Add seniority (“Senior,” “Director”) if accurate.
Industry & company size: Select the industry you work in and current company size (e.g., 1–50, 51–200, 1k+).
Tools & platforms: List current tools you use weekly/monthly (e.g., Figma, Salesforce, QuickBooks). Spell names correctly; add versions if relevant.
Responsibilities & domain: Brief bullets (e.g., “Owns budget approvals up to $50k,” “Manages 6-person support team”).
Region & time zone: Exact city/metro + time zone; set in-person radius if you’re open to traveling locally.
Languages: Add all languages you can interview in.
Availability windows: Typical days/times (e.g., “M–F, 12–3pm local”). Mention constraints (shift work, school run).
Employment details: Role type (full-time, freelance, student), tenure, industry verticals (e.g., healthcare, fintech).
Profile photo (optional but recommended): Neutral, front-facing.
Verification (if requested): Complete any ID/email steps to increase trust.
Stay consistent with screeners
Your profile is used alongside screeners. Mismatch = lower selection odds. Keep title, tools, industry, region, and availability aligned with how you answer screener questions.
