All newly posted research projects on Respondent go through a series of automated and manual (human-led) reviews to ensure they are a good fit for our platform, a good match for our Participant panel, and that they adhere to our Code of Conduct, Terms of Service and Privacy Policies. If your project is currently "Pending" and/or under review, additional information can be found below! Please reach out to support@respondent.io with any questions or feedback.

Screeners:

  • A great project, and a great recruitment, starts with a detailed and in-depth screener to help you bring in the best participants. Your screener should be more than three questions, ideally 5-6 questions minimum, and should utilize various question and answer types.

  • Screeners should never ask for personal information, should never request a participant enter their email, phone number, date of birth, or similar information.

  • All screeners must happen in-platform, on Respondent (participants may not be taken off platform to complete screener questions, fill out forms, etc.).

  • Your screener should be detailed, yet easy to read and follow, and match the project description outlined at the beginning of the project.

Projects & Incentives:

  • Projects should match their description and screener details.

  • Incentives should be inline with our Incentive Calculator and should be relevant to the subject, audience, time/effort required, and the like.

  • When multiple projects are needed (say for different locations), clear naming should be used for each project. Example: "Test Project 01 - United States" , "Test Project 02 - United Kingdom" , "Test Project 03 - Canada" and so on. Using your own naming convention, adding dates to your project titles, etc., may be helpful if location is irrelevant and/or not detailed enough for your internal use case.

  • Target number of recruits should be accurate to your need, not over-estimated. If you need five recruits, please target only five recruits.

Researcher Information & Payment:

  • Researcher and Researcher Organization information should be accurate and double checked prior to submission of project.

  • A verified and valid credit card is required to post a project on the Respondent platform (unless you have pre-purchased and "front loaded" credits and incentives ahead of time). Your card will be verified, but not charged, at the time it is added.

  • All participant payments must be made in-platform, via PayPal exclusively. The only authorized method of payment is on the Respondent platform via PayPal.

Additional Notes:

  • Have a question about the reviewal process or would like to speak to a member of our Support Team for more information? Please email us at support@respondent.io and we will assist as soon as bandwidth permits.

  • Project Reviews are typically completed within 1-2 business days of submission. If your project is taking longer than that, please reach out to support@respondent.io and we will help!

  • Respondent reserves the right review and audit all accounts on the platform, including those of Researchers, Partners and Participants, and the profiles, projects and participation they represent. We may remove any/all of the previously listed if we find they violate our Respondent Code of Conduct, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or platform quality standards.
