Why Add Social Links?
After you apply to a study, the researcher decides who to invite. They're looking for participants who meet the project requirements and who are who they say they are. Social media links, especially LinkedIn, give researchers a quick way to verify your identity, work history, and background. Participants with verified social accounts are more likely to be selected and invited to participate.

Supported Platforms
You can add links for the following accounts:
Platform | URL Format |
Twitter / X | |
GitHub |
Tip: LinkedIn is especially valuable β it helps verify your identity, work history, location, and professional background all at once.
Privacy
Researchers can view your social links only after you've applied to a study. Your links are not publicly visible on the platform and are not shared with researchers you haven't applied to.
FAQs
Do I have to add social links? No, social links are optional. However, adding them increases your chances of being selected, especially for B2B (Industry Professional) studies where identity verification matters most.
What if I don't have any social media accounts? You can still participate in studies without social links. But participants with verifiable social profiles are more likely to be chosen by researchers.
Can I remove a social link after adding it? Yes, go to Settings β Social accounts, clear the field, and click Save changes.
