How does the referral program work?
Referral Links
The Referral Link is an introduction of sorts; it allows someone to sign up on the Respondent platform by using your unique referral code. Referral links are not connected to any projects. When someone you refer successfully signs up and earns at least $75 worth of completed project incentive payments in total, you will receive a $20 referral bonus paid to your PayPal account. Here are the details:
The person you refer is signing up for the first time.
The new account sign-up is made using your unique referral link.
The person you refer earns at least $75 in incentive payments, in total.
Please note: The Referral Link bonus may only be used one time, for each new qualifying account.
Project Referrals
Project Referral links allow you to refer people to a specific study. Only after the person you refer signs up and creates a new account, and is selected, and completes the project, you will receive a $50 project referral bonus paid to your PayPal account. Here are the details:
The person you refer does not have an account on the Respondent platform.
Uses your unique referral link to sign up.
Participates in and is paid for the referred project.
Participates in a project that has an incentive of $100 or higher.
Participates in a project that none of your other referrals already participated in.
You may refer multiple people to the same project, but you will only receive up to five $50 referral bonuses per project.
After you've received five $50 referral bonuses for a project, you will not be paid for any more project referrals for that particular project.
Important Note: Acceptance of payments from Researchers outside of the Respondent platform is strictly prohibited. Payments made from Researchers should always be completed in our platform and paid via Tremendous eGift Card or PayPal. At this time, we do not support any other payment methods.
Please Note: Respondent reserves the right review and audit all accounts on the platform, including those of Researchers, Partners and Participants, and the profiles, projects and participation they represent. Occasionally, we may remove any/all of the previously listed if we find they violate our Respondent Code of Conduct, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or platform quality standards. In some unique instances, as a result of these removals, we may be unable to continue communication threads, follow up or close out tasks or projects, provide additional information, or issue incentive payments.
