Setting up a Target Audience

Setting up a Target Audience How to I target people based on gender, location, age, ethnicity, job title, industry, or preferences?

Audience Targeting lets you tell us whom you want to participate in your project. The attributes listed here determine who can opt into your study and who will be listed as qualified.

Audience Targeting Options

Target Number of Research Participants

Your target number is the number of participants you intend to take part in your project. We recruit 2 times the number of qualified participants you want to target, and then your project is automatically paused.

Participants who are not qualified do not count towards the 2x of your target number.

You can filter the audience based on location and gender. Participants who do not meet these criteria will not be able to apply to participate in your project.

See more on Filtering here.

You can target specific industries or job titles. Targeting an audience through these criteria helps our platform send out invitations to apply for your project. They do not qualify or disqualify participants.

See more on Targeting here.

You can qualify participants based on Education, Ethnicity and Age. Participants who meet the criteria you set up here will still be able to apply to your study, but they will be considered “Not Qualified” and will not count toward your target of qualified participants.
