Project Details Questions
Setting up a project is easy -- We've set up a series of questions for you to answer:
Who do you want to talk to?
This is step one in picking your audience -- You can choose if you'd like to speak with Industry Professionals or the General Population.
How will you conduct your research?
We allow you to conduct research in two ways: Remotely or In-Person. Research participants on our platform can choose to view all projects, remote projects only, or in-person projects only. How you will conduct your research will influence the subsequent details you will be asked to provide for your project.
- Remote Projects - A remote project is any project that doesn't require an in-person interaction. They are most often conducted via video chat, phone, or as unmoderated studies. You still specify your location for remote projects and we will recruit within 250km of that location.
- In-Person Projects - An in-person study is an interview or focus group that requires an in-person interaction. You specific the location of your research and we recruit people within 100km of that location.
What type of research will you be conducting?
In order to set up your project correctly, you need to include your methodology. Below is a list of all the research types. For a more thorough look into all types, see our Research Methods page here.
Types of Research on both Remote and In-Person Projects:
- Focus Groups
Types of Research only for Remote Projects:
- Unmoderated Study
- Diary Study
Types or Research only for In-Person Projects:
- In Respondent Home
- In Respondent Office
How will you connect with participants?
This question allows you to tell your participants how you will contact with them.
If you do not have the exact link, you can include a general statement there (such as "You will be sent a Zoom link"), and then follow up with the exact link in the invitation.
Time Required and Timezone
This section allows you to say the expected time commitment for this project, and the intended timezone of the project. You can set the timezone on the calendars from your project before and after you've published your project.
The time required should include all time necessary, including any pre-interview or post-interview work. For unmoderated studies, this is the expected amount of time required to complete the unmoderated task.
The Incentive is how much you will be paying your participants for their participation in your project. This does not include any additional service fees (i.e. the 50% for the marketplace participants and the monthly fee for the RMS participants).
