The Service Fee (formally called the Recruitment Fee) is what Respondent charges for sourcing, recruiting, and scheduling respondents.

Past Participants:

When you launch a project, Respondent casts its recruitment nets wide to find you the best Participants for your project.

We connect and source participants from our proprietary participant pool, then email invitations and scheduling notifications.

We apply the 50% service fee to past participants, including participants we help you recruit from your participant database.

Self-Recruited Participants:

If you are using self-recruited participants via the project invite link in your analytics or project tabs, we do not charge a 50% service fee so long as they did not have an account on the platform when they followed your link to join the research project.

Let me know if you have any additional questions. I'm happy to help!
